Coronavirus and MCT

Coronavirus Statement

MCT has been monitoring this unprecedented and rapidly-changing situation around the Coronavirus and COVID-19, while following recommendations from health professionals and local, state and federal officials. The advice coming from all levels of health professionals is to practice “social distancing” and avoid crowds of any size, which can be very difficult to accomplish in a theatre venue. To that end, we have made the difficult decision to cancel and/or postpone activities that are near and dear to our hearts…and to yours, which are noted on this home page.

Regarding the International Tour, it is with heavy hearts that we are postponing the remainder of our spring tour, March 23-28 through May 11-16. Keeping students and their families safe is always a top priority for the Missoula Children’s Theatre, and we want you to know this decision was not made lightly.

We will be working diligently to get back to each and every one of you (200+) locations to get you rescheduled into a future tour. At this juncture, we will hold all deposits with the goal of applying them to a future booking. We appreciate your patience and understanding during this time and are grateful for the trust you place in having the Missoula Children’s Theatre in your community.

We look forward to our return. We cannot stress enough how grateful we are to our patrons, volunteers, staff and board of directors for their support while we navigate this most challenging time…together.

From all of us at MCT, we wish you well.
