In August 2015, MCT produced The Princess and the Pea in Beijing, China with 60 local children, on the stage of the China National Theatre for Children (CNTC). They were under the direction of two MCT Tour Actor/Directors, along with actor/directors from CNTC.  They performed flawlessly and in English to large crowds as part of an international children’s theatre festival! To celebrate our continuing partnership with CNTC, in September 2016, ten of those cast members experienced their first travel outside of China to come to Missoula, Montana!  They reprised their roles, this time alongside Missoula-area cast members! This cross-cultural project was so exciting for MCT, as well as CNTC. The children made new friends in America and we believe some of them have stayed in touch.
