Alumni & MCT Memories

Fly Tour was one of the single greatest adventures of my life. It is exhilarating, inspiring and exhausting all in one. I truly believe that I left my heart in Asia. Everybody on base went above and beyond at all times to make us feel like home and help acclimate us to a new way of life. I feel so grateful everyday that I had the experience to teach theatre abroad and travel with one of my closest friends!

The children and families are extraordinary! Everybody I encountered was beyond grateful and so excited to get to know my tour partner and I. We made wonderful connections with families and base members. I look forward to hearing stories from them and following their adventures as they travel from base to base.

When I did my first show in Kindergarten, I had no idea that MCT would be present for the next twelve years of my life. The experiences these shows have fostered have shaped my development, personally and artistically. MCT shows and staff have taught me how to confidently take up space. They have inspired me to be big, bold, and most of all, true to myself.

When I’m not at MCT I like to keep busy working hard and playing hard. I’ve got a great boss who keeps me busy with projects, allows me to fit in a lot of skiing at Snowbowl (where I also work part-time), and pursue my musical career. I have a strong passion for theatre, performing, directing and above all, trying to help others.
