2017 – 2018 Season

Thank you for your interest in the Missoula Children’s Theatre! We welcome employment applications at any time as we do occasionally have mid-season openings. Our next openings for the 2017–2018 season will begin with training in Missoula, MT, beginning Tuesday, May 30, 2017. We will begin the process of hiring for those openings in February 2017.

The following items are required for a complete application:

• a COVER LETTER outlining your interest in MCT, Inc.

• a CURRENT HEADSHOT and RESUME.

• a completed MCT Tour Actor/ Director Application

• AUDITION with 2-3 minutes of representative acting (monologue or scene from a production, etc.) and singing – preferably accompanied. If an accompanist is not available to you, please use a keyboard to indicate starting note. We are looking for musicality, a sense of character, and energy level. You may send a DVD or, if you prefer, post your audition on YouTube or otherwise attach a file electronically and then email me the link.

Representatives from our company will also be attending all major audition/hiring conferences across the US in the first few months of 2017 (The University of Montana, TPS, UPTA, NEXT STEP, MWTA, TCUTA; SETC, PATA, NETC, Straw Hat and Fall SETC in September 2017). Those conferences provide the opportunity to audition and interview with us in person.  Area residents may make arrangements to audition and interview at MCT in Missoula, MT.
