Matthew Windham

Matthew comes from Salt Lake City, Utah, where he is the founding director of the annual Shakespeare Festival for kids (and adults with short attention spans) at the Utah Children’s Theatre. Most recently he directed Shakespeare’s Henry V at UCT, and wrote, directed and starred in a humorous introduction to Shakespeare and his works, and performed as part of the Folger Library’s First Folio exhibition in SLC. Apart from Shakespeare, Matthew is most interested in plays that get young audiences excited about American history; one of his most beloved roles was that of Abraham Lincoln in the play Honest Abe.
