Performing Arts Camps

MCT is proud to host three “sleep-away” Performing Arts Camps in Montana for which kids audition: Two on the shores of Flathead Lake and one near Seeley Lake—all in beautiful Western Montana.

East Shore Camp

EAST SHORE PERFORMING ARTS SKILLS CAMP: Camp runs July 30-August 5, 2017
A weeklong, theatre skill-building camp for 6th and 7th graders. Located on the shores of Seeley Lake at Camp Paxson, the campers’ last event is singing and dancing in a small, on-site showcase.

Performing Arts Camp (PAC)

Located at Flathead Lake, the North Shore and South Shore camps are for teens. Talented youth come from all over the world, make life-long friends, and hone their performing skills. The two-week camp culminates in a weekend of shows at the MCT Center for the Performing Arts.

SOUTH SHORE PAC: Camp runs July 29-August 13, 2017

South Shore is for students entering their junior or senior year of high school, and recent high school graduates.This program is held at Camp Marshall, just north of Polson, Montana, with performances August 11-13, 2017 at the MCT Center of the Performing Arts in Missoula, Montana.

NORTH SHORE PAC: Camp runs July 30-August 13, 2017

For students entering grades 8-10 in the fall. This program is also held on the shores of Flathead Lake, with performances August 10-12, 2017 at the MCT Center for the Performing Arts in Missoula, Montana.

Applications

Applications, along with audition information, will be sent out via email in March 2017. Please contact Camp Coordinator Kirsten Paisley after February 21, 2017 to be added to our mailing list to receive audition information in the spring.

Performing Arts Camp Employment

There are employment opportunities on an annual basis for the above camps. We accept PAC Staff Applications for camp counselors, choreographers, accompanists, lifeguards, nurses and cooks. Return to the home office in care of Victoria Larson.

2017 MCT Performing Arts Camps are just around the corner. Below are a few FAQ’s:

Summer Program Nomination Deadlines is February 17, 2017.

Nominated students for Performing Arts Camp will receive application and audition information via e-mail the week of February 27, 2017.

East Shore (for students going into 6th or 7th grades in the fall of 2017) is held on Seeley Lake, 40 miles northeast of Missoula, July 30-Aug 5. Cost for the one week overnight camp is $475.

North Shore (for students going into 8th, 9th and 10th grades in the fall of 2017) is held on Flathead Lake, 80 miles north of Missoula, July 30- Aug 13, 2017. Cost for the two week overnight camp is $925.

South Shore (for students going into 11th, 12th and recent high school graduates in the fall of 2017) is held on Flathead Lake, 65 miles north of Missoula, July 29 – Aug 13, 2017. Cost for the two week overnight camp is $925.
